BERC focuses on the conservation and preservation of the history, culture, and economy of The Bahamas, The West Indies, & Caribbean Region. This Region with it's comparatively small population is one of the most historic, prolific, and productive environments in the world.

BERC preserves and archives the numerous contributions The Bahamas, The West Indies & Caribbean Region has made to the development, leadership, and worldwide dominance of its Music, Art, Literature, Agriculture, Theatre, and contribution to Democracy & Civil Rights.
