The Ferry Pointe Preserve (FPP) is located in Western Martin County, Florida between The City of Stuart, and Lake Okeechobee and its surrounding State and Recreational Parks. It sits on the historic point of land where the old Indiantown Ferry shuttled South Florida Travelers in the early 1900s across the Okeechobee Waterway on a hand cranked Ferry to the Ferry Stop & Restaurant on the Southern Side of the Waterway, so that they could get to Western Jupiter and Palm Beach using the nearby Old Jupiter Farms Road.

Ferry Pointe Preserve includes The Ferry Pointe Entertainment Venue (FPEV) an Outdoor Entertainment Event Venue providing Event Space, Dining, Music, Pickle Ball, Fishing, Boating, and Meeting Space. The Hannaian Research Institute (HRI) is also located at Ferry Pointe.

The Bahamas Ecology Research Conservancy (BERC) is a non-profit entity dedicated to the Study, Teaching, Stewardship and Conservation of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, its Ecology, Natural Environment, People, Culture, and their impact on the Culture & Economy of The United States, The Caribbean, and The World. BERC focuses on the conservation and preservation of the history, culture, and economy of The Bahamas, The West Indies, & Caribbean Region. This Region with it's comparatively small population is one of the most historic, prolific, and productive environments in the world.

BERC preserves and archives the numerous contributions The Bahamas, The West Indies & Caribbean Region has made to the development, leadership, and worldwide dominance of its Music, Art, Literature, Agriculture, Theatre, and contribution to Democracy & Civil Rights.
