In the United States the spending power of African Americans alone is by some studies and estimates the equivalent of the eighth largest economy in the world. This phenomenon complemented by the spending power of Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans and other ethnic groups exemplifies the importance of these markets to businesses and entrepreneurs. The Minority Owned Business Center is designed to assist Minority Owned Businesses to develop Wall Street level operations so that they can effectively compete in the National and Global marketplace.
